Beautiful Native American Portrait Series by Photographer Craig Varjabedian

The Native American photo series of photographer Craig Varjabedian marks the celebration of life and culture of these people.  It seemed to be a tough journey for Craig to convince the set of people who always faced trouble and denial to pose for the photography.  Many superstitious ideas like photographing will steal their soul is prevalent among the native Americans and this was an obstacle to see them through lens.  The clear motive of Craig is to portray the Native Americans in the most respectful way and document it as a mark of gratitude to those who came forward to photograph themselves in spite of all odds.  He establishes a good relationship with the people, understands their sentiments and creates a common ground to share their thoughts and ideas, later making them feel comfortable in getting photographed.  Here we share the beautiful photographs of Craig for you to enjoy.
