Libraries are the most peaceful places on the earth. The pin drop silence, turning of pages and the smell of old books, it's like a different world altogether. Photographer Massimo Listri has travelled to many destinations and has captured some of those peaceful knowledge stores(library). Library photography speaks about different centuries of history just waiting to be consumed by the human mind. Massimo Listri was born in 1953 and his photography career started at a very young age of 17. His photography works have been exhibited in many prestigious art galleries around the world. He has published more than 70 books with some prestigious publishers(Palaces of Rome, Villas of Tuscany, Versailles, Italian Palace and more). According to his biography, "During his university years he studied Arts and Letters and continued to expand his work, contributing numerous photographic services to publications devoted to Art, Architecture, and Interior Design". Some of the artwork on the ceilings of these famous libraries are intricate paintings.
