Farmers Weekly’s 2020 Photography Competition is offering you £500 in cash prizes and a unique opportunity to see your pictures published. There are eight categories and the competition is open to amateur photographers only. We’ll publish a selection of the shots we like best, including the eight category winners, in the bumper Christmas issue of Farmers Weekly on 15 December, then announce our overall winner plus the second- and third-prize images in early January. You can enter photos taken in 2020 or in previous years - and it is fine to re-submit pictures entered into previous FW photography competitions. They might be ones you’re already fond of or, of course, you might choose to take snaps specifically with this competition in mind. Don’t be discouraged if you’re not a regular picture-taker, either – some of the images we’ve liked best in previous years have been those snapped in a moment of inspiration on a phone-camera while out and about working. The 2020 awards will take place on 17th March 2021 at the Grosvenor House Hotel, Park Lane in London.
Closing date for entries is 15 November 2020
Enter the Young Photographer (16 and under) category of Farmers Weekly's annual photo competition. The closing date of the competition is 11.59pm on Sunday, 15 November 2020.
Prizes (if any) will be shipped for free within India. Winners from outside India may mention an Indian address to ship the prizes. Alternatively, they will have to bear the shipping expense to their respective countries.
Any state/ provincial/ territorial, and/or local taxes, fees and surcharges and taxes (whether foreign or domestic, and including income tax) on any prize that may be awarded to you under the Contest will be solely paid by you.
